There much difference at all. Much of continued operation comes from reflecting the attitudes of the Democrat Left. PBS takes on a Left Wing attitude because they know this is essential to remain in operation and to continue receiving government money in a time when their service is really no longer vital, given the fact that there are so many other viewing options.

Media means the public, so when it says beaten to death by the media it probably means the public wants to know about that person and the person is restlessly being followed by paparazzi. Or it could mean the public is beaten to death by the public ( I know because you have to read the context).

If both your wireless and you fast ethernet working I would guess that the problem is not with your laptop but with your router. But to be sure check each of them, disabling one at a time and typing in cmd "ping 127.0.0.1" if this fails I would suggest going into Device manager and uninstalling the network device and re-installing it, with the proper drivers. If the ping fail consider reseting your router and reconfiguring it do this if the problem is local to your machine).
