Your output idea is fine, but there are a few things you want to take care of
1) I would make EXP_AMT a double, to avoid conversions
2) Since you will be using gross later, add a declaration with your variables:
double gross 0.0;
3) Take out "MonthlyBudget Actual;" and "Actual.gross actual;" because you have already declared a variable of MonthlyBudget type called actual at the head of the program.
4) If you would rather have "gross" be of the monthly budget structure, then add a field to it called gross instead of doing step 2
5) Calculate the gross by adding up the values of the members of "actual" after you have input them from the user
6) Change "if Actual.gross < EXP_AMT;" to be:
if (gross EXP_AMT)
since "Actual" was a second MonthlyBudget variable declared and you want to just use the original (it would be actual.gross if you had added gross as a field to MonthlyBudget)
Also, if you spend exactly the allotted amount, it is still within budget
7) Change "else if EXP_AMT > Actual.gross;" to just be "else" since at this point you have ruled out the other possibilities. Note the syntax for conditionals (or {}s may be omitted if there is exactly one statement per case):

8) declare the variable for overage:
double EXP_AMT – gross;
although it is probably more modifiable and clear if you instead declare it at the top with the other variables and initialize it to zero there, then set it here, e.g.

9) In order to have the window open long enough to read the results on my Windows system, I have to add the following to my main function just before the end:

As simple as this sounds, the only reason I can see for that happening, would be if you logged on, but that make sense either because if you were not logged on, you be able to get to that page.
This is a very odd occurrence and after racking my brain I still come up with anything.

I use macro daily in my data conversion job, but I dont use the way u r telling. I feel that it is visual basic editor u r showing. While making macro, there is no need to go to visual basic editor. U just record new macro and that is it. I would hv told u how to record macro, had u been more specific of telling ur need. It may not help u getting any correct answer by showing this vbe.

I just got married in Oct and yes, most people give $$ at the wedding and gifts at the shower.
Out of 180 people we got maybe 6 gifts at the wedding….boring!
So many gifts are recieved and the shower that no more gifts are needed!
Sometimes wealthy people like to give gifts because otherwise they think you may have only invited them for their money.
I ALWAYS give cash and prefer to GET cash.
