Working in the web-hosting industry, Rich Blackburn noticed a need for a collection of resources for non-advanced users.   A place where the “common hoster” can come for tips, tricks, and to brush up on what’s new in the online world.  Thus, The Common Hoster was born!

Rich is an excellent source of guidance for all things related to your online presence.  Merchant accounts and VPS are areas of particular expertise.  He created The Common Hoster because he wanted an opportunity to help sort out the sometimes complex process of getting online.

Rich has lived in the Columbus, Ohio area all his life, and by default is therefore the biggest Ohio State Buckeye fan in the world.  He also went to The Ohio State University for a degree in Financial Management.  If you’re reading this during the weekend, then Rich is most likely on a golf course somewhere with his wife Lindsey; if you’re reading this during business hours, then Rich is daydreaming about golf.
